I'm a Big Slacker

I know all my adoring fans have been anxiously awaiting my return - sorry I've been a slacker.

I got back from Park City on Sunday from my Sundance excursion. I was a big slacker there too - I think I took about two pictures. I'll post them when I get home and do a little write up. So much fun!

It's Frigging Freezing

And it is only going to get worse! I dropped my ski plans for today because it is 0 degrees at the Bowl with a 20 mile an hour wind. Booooo. The winds were just howling last night and they kept me awake. 

Maybe this will motivate me to go the gym and go for a run. But I will probably just end up watching a movie and finishing Kinsey's hat that I'm knitting for her. It's gonna be awesome - the yarn is this alpacha mix - it's got a blue core and an outside ribbon the switches from green to dark blue. I'll post a pic when I'm done. 

27 Dresses

Was really cute. I do love a good romantic comedy. How come journalists are never as cute as they are in the movies? I should know, I went to journalism school. Nobody was that cute, good looking, sarcastic...

Steroids Say What?

I am so tired of hearing about steroids. Baseball players, rappers - I don't care. If they are only using steroids then more power to them.

We all know that professional sports is a show - sort of like the theatre for guys who are homophobic. It's real to a point, then it's all acting. So it's not really a shock guys are juicing up when it's all about ratings and endorsements. Whatever - but doesn't the Senate have anything better to do! Seriously!

Juno - the film to see this year

Juno was great! Lived up to the hype and the reviews.

I pretty much laughed all the way through. It is one of those comedies that doesn't rely on bodily humor, which I always appreciate. Though one review I read said the script was too cute, I disagreed. It was awesome.

If you see it at the Wilma, wear a jacket, it's freaking freezing in there!

P.S. - The Stupidest Movie Ever

Maybe this goes against all those female hormones that I have, but P.S. I Love You was the worst movie ever - I'm saying EVER. It was a perfectly good waste of hot guy and woman cast too old for a part. Just because Hillary Swank won two Oscars doesn't mean she can be in any movie. Seriously. 

Can't Stop Watching the Train Wreck

I think I might have problem - I'm slightly addicted to celebrity gossip. But not just any celebrity gossip - well, actually, all of it - but in particular Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy. I just can't stop watching it. Then Britney keeps trying to do all this crazy stuff to upstage her. But I just can't stop watching it.
